Blog 2: Why I choose this career?

When I was a child I used to play games like pretend that I was a teacher, or a supermarket cashier, even a bank secretary, I know, is boring, but the truth is that I didn’t give so much importance to what I wanted to be when I grew up or even what I wanted to study, it was just a little girl.

Then when I was in the secondary school I have a teacher who loves so much her jobs, loves teach us History and I already liked history, so that was the career I was going to study in that moment, but then I become more realistic I think, I had so many questions like: I will find job in this área?, I will be poor? Even If I will be good enought as my teacher, but well at the end I decided for public administrator with the idea of public service, help the people, change the world or make it better at least. After all I think nobody says when they were kids "I would like to be a public administrator when I grow up", so newly Im just discovering what is it about and I'm still believe that it's possible make a better place.

That's why in the future I would like to work in the ONU mujeres Chile, I dont know how yet but I would like to work in some ONG’s too, or in some ministry or municipality, but I think more interesting ONU mujeres Chile and the theme of the gender equality in different aspects of life like work, education, the pension system, even health. Chile is a country very unequal and if I can contribute in that equality it will be a good way to feel me fulfilled.
